Academic Tutoring
For help with school courses, private tutoring is a specialty of mine. I have been tutoring for over 15 years and specialize in math and physical sciences, especially the AP courses. Subjects offered include: Math K-8; Algebra 1 and 2; Geometry; Precalculus; Calculus 1, 2, and 3; Statistics & Probability; Middle School Science; Chemistry; and Physics.
Based in the Alameda, CA area, I can offer in person as well as virtual classes. For students outside of the area, I offer virtual tutoring which I have been doing for over five years.
Private Education and Curriculum Guidance
I have a teaching certificate in Mathematics for 6-12 grades from NJ. I can help your child with their homeschool education in the STEM fields and provide guidance on curriculum development.
Standardized Testing
With over six years of experience, I can help your college-bound student prepare for exams like the SAT or ACT. I can assist with the Math and Science sections of these tests, will gladly teach you general test-taking strategies to "beat the test," and have references who can help you with Verbal & English needs. I also have experience with private tutoring for high school entrance exams, such as the Accuplacer, SSAT, and ISEE, along with graduate exams such as the GRE and MAT.
